It is promoted by the authors as the User Guide that should have been included with the delivered product and I concur. That said, the expert end of the spectrum is somewhat lacking. But the general theme of the product is to learn by doing. Discovery in the dark is certainly not satisfying. This user guide get you started doing. Now, today I took my first picture and was pleased to learn the image file was a jpeg and I can upload it to Facebook. I also took a video, but I have yet to determine its' file type. Now, I learned that the picture file was a jpeg, by e-mailing it to my email account server. Now the process of setting up the e-mail transfer was not trivial, especially in discovery mode. Most users would not have that information readily available. You can send the picture directly to Facebook, but there is no way I am going to give that login information to my Fire 10, which really, really wants that access to market to my Friends list. I am sure that there is a setting to prevent that. This guide does not show one how to do that. The one time I logged into FB using the Fire 10 and my own password protection app, FB tried to take over FB messenger by installing the Fire Messenger. There is probably a setting to prevent this, but this document does not say how. So, it is by no means an expert level document but as a document that encourages the development of expertise at the basic operations, it does well. That is enough for a slim volume.Product details

All New Fire HD 8 10 User Guide Newbie to Expert in 2 Hours! eBook Tom Edwards Jenna Edwards Reviews
This book served me well for an instruction Manual.
They cover all the functions you need to learn to utilize the s many applications.
I might be changing this rating. So far I am UNIMPRESSED, it is written in 2015, although the page says that it was updated in Fall of 2017. So far I have NOT found where this has been done. If this turns out to be a total misrepresentation (LIE) I will be changing this to a 1 star review.
A good book, but unfortunate for it to have to be published in the first place. could do a better job of making a User Guide that is absolutely user friendly instead of assuming everyone has tghe tech language and skills. Also, you cannot print out the user guide
that comes with the Fire, a pity, since many older folk and those not so old, would rather have hard copy to refer to rather
then jump back and forth from screen to screen. NOTHING can ever replace a book, even though I love my (this is my third one)
Somethings, like user guides, dictionaries, atlases and cookbooks do not translate well into e-readers.
Being a total newbie to all aspects of this type of technology, and being forced into it by my children, this was an essential. I would have been completely lost without it. Did not have any concept of what was going on until this was pointed out to me.
This ebook is NOT written for the 7th generation of fire HD. What a rip off1. Absolutely none of the things talked about in the book apply to the 7th generation fires.
A necessary guide and step by step explanation to entering the Universe with the new Fire HD 8 (and 10). There are a lot of nuances one needs to understand prior to using the Fire. First it is helpful to be a Prime Member. Great access to exclusive series and movies that stream free with the service. File management is explained and I personally recommend ES File Explorer as the first app to download. There are no unexplained issues with the exception of a comprehensive trouble shooting guide for third party files. But after all it is an AMAZON device. HENCE what I do love about is the ability to ask questions and search for a stream where others assist us with their experiences. Please know that my cat has knocked this tablet to the floor several times with absolutely no issues. The durability in this unit really is superb.
ENJOY your tablet.
Why the hell isn't there an index? How stupid can the author be? I bought the book thinking I could just immediate look up the answers to things I'm unclear about like is there a way to click "X" on one button to close things out instead of having to do this for each one. Maybe that is in there but without an index, I can't tell without reading the whole book. STUPID STUPID STUPID!
